From September 30 to October 2, in the German city Bad Driburg took place the event Regional Partner Summit Europe 2013, organized by the company Wincor Nixdorf.

In the event, the European partners of Wincor Nixdorf exchanged their experiences, were interested in innovations, discussed the development and maintenance of the partnership network. The event was attended by around 120 persons, representatives of nearly 60 companies.

Along with 26 companies from Europe, the event was also attended by Lithuanian international team Penkių kontinentų bankinės technologijos (BS/2), which is part of the group of companies Penki kontinentai and representatives of the company DAAC System Integrator.    

BS/2, already a partner of Wincor Nixdorf for many years, not only delivers equipment to companies from financial sector and retail sector in Baltic countries, countries from Central and East Asia and to other countries, but also develops software solutions that facilitate the business automation, optimization and extending.

DAAC System Integrator provides professional services to banks and other companies that carry out projects in the field of electronic payments through plastic cards. Currently, the company ranks pretty high on the domestic market in the field of solutions for the banking system for self-service. Thus, not only the delivery and solution integration on turnkey are provided, but also the guarantee of technical service (nonstop) that is necessary for the users.   

„This meeting coincided with the Wincor Nixdorf financial year end and was a great opportunity to share the experiences, to get acquainted with the work carried out and the news, discuss the possibility of collaboration. The partners also exposed their opinion regarding the realized works and presented the most important achievements and strategies for the future” – mentions the deputy director BS/2 Tomas Augucevičius.

At the event were discussed the trends of development in the banking sector, the logistic projects and the recirculation of the cash flow, as well as the current questions of the retail automation. The visitors were introduced to new products and Wincor Nixdorf solutions.

Traditionally, the last day of the event were announced the nominees for the best results achieved in sales, solutions, progress, etc. The Lithuanian company is the only European company that owns two important nominations, which were awarded even by the President and CEO of Wincor Nixdorf, Akard Hidloff. Upon handing awards to the President of Penki kontinentai, IDraksu, Dadashovasu, Mister Heidloff emphasized that Penki kontinentai is one of the first partners that has been working for more than 18 years with the company Wincor Nixdorf.    

In the category „the best banking solution of the year 2012/2013” were named the products of the company Payments.iQ. In the category “the best service of the banking equipment” was mentioned the company BS/2 Latvija – subsidiary of the company BS/2.

 “It is not for the first time we are awarded for the offered products and provided services. This proved once again that the implemented standards ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 and the existent procedures work and bring real benefits. The family of products developed by us iQ ensures the access to equipment, quality and transparency” – mentions the technical service department director of the company Tomas Bublys. After completion of the official part, the participants of the event had a trip to one of the German routes “Formula-1”, which symbolizes enhancement of the innovation and determination/motivation to be always a step ahead. These meetings are an opportunity not only to exchange experiences and knowledge, but also to share ideas about the appearance of new available products.
